About Grateful Five
A family, a faith, and a belief that real estate can be about more than a transaction.
Grateful Five Real Estate began with a Christian family of five and a simple belief that real estate can be about more than buying and selling property. It can also be an opportunity to serve people, restore homes, strengthen neighborhoods, and help someone find a way forward during a difficult season.

Building for the long term
We are building a family real estate business focused on long term stewardship rather than quick transactions alone. That means we invest time in understanding each property and each situation, and we think carefully about what happens to a home after we purchase it.
We expect to make a reasonable investment return — that is part of running a sustainable business. But we believe profit should never require treating someone unfairly or taking advantage of a difficult situation. If a purchase does not make sense for both sides, we would rather say so than push forward.
What Guides Us
Four things we try to carry into every conversation.
Faith
Our faith shapes how we conduct business and how we treat the people we meet, whatever their own beliefs may be.
Integrity
We aim to say what we mean, do what we say, and be straightforward even when the answer is not the one someone hoped for.
Compassion
We try to see the person behind every property and to listen before we ever talk about a purchase.
Stewardship
We care for the properties we own and the neighborhoods they sit in, with an eye toward the long term rather than the quick flip.
We welcome everyone, regardless of belief.
Christianity is an important part of who we are, but this site — and our business — is for everyone. We believe honesty, compassion, fairness, and service should be part of every transaction, no matter who we are working with.
